More Ways to Help Your Mercedes-Benz Excel This Winter in St. Louis

March 6th, 2017 by

Even though winter is on its way out in St. Louis (we hope), there’s still some cold and snow we have to navigate. Until spring actually arrives, there are some things you can do to help your Mercedes-Benz excel during the coldest and snowiest months of the year. We shared some winter maintenance suggestions last week, and we’re back with a few more:

Windshield: Ice and snow can build up on your windshield, which makes visibility challenge. Install heavy duty winter wiper blades that can clear it off, and always keep an ice scraper and extra windshield washer fluid in your vehicle.

Emergency Kit: You never know what can happen on the winter roads, so bring an emergency kit just in case. Pack it with extra warm clothing like a jacket, hat, and gloves; emergency gear like flares, car phone charger, flashlight and batteries, and snacks; and kitty litter and a shovel in case you need to gain traction.

Tires: Bald or out of season tires won’t be able to safely handle snowy roads. Visit the Mercedes-Benz Tire Center to find a new set of winter or all-season tires that can navigate you through winter driving conditions.

If you have any questions or need help getting your vehicle fit for winter, remember to contact the Service Center at Mercedes-Benz of St. Louis. Our knowledgeable staff would be happy to help.

Happy winter driving!
